Monthly Camps
Our monthly camps are scheduled around national competitions in order to have a more intensive preparation before competing.
As such these camps tend to stress footwork and conditioning at the beginning of the season and move into a more tactical
preparation as the season progresses. Intermediate/advanced fencers train together. Beginner fencers should
contact us first before planning to attend. These camps include a competition - either held in-house or using
competitions in the area (ie. RPI Open). When possible we hold two competitions - Youth (12 & under) and Open. For more
information on our monthly competitions please Click Here.
Camp times (Subject to change):
Saturdays: 10-4pm
Sundays: 10-12pm (with competition to follow)

Pre-National Camp
Our Pre-National Camp is a 5 day camp designed to prepare fencers for the Summer Nationals.
Every day is spent involving footwork, technical and tactical preparation. Mental preparation, tracking,
controlled bouting and tactical analysis are all included. This camp is offered to competitive fencers and
others with 2 years experience. Camp ends with a training competition - usually a team
event designed to create a competitive bouting situation while still in a training environment.
2008 Pre-National Camp Schedule:
Dates: June 25-29
Times: 10-4pm
Summer Camp
Like last year Beaches Sabre Club-NY is pleased to combine our summer camp with the Southcoast
Fencing Club in Santa Ana, California. Information about the camp can be found Here.
